SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That nothing in this
act contained shall be construed as applying to vessels
or boats, their masters, owners or crews, which may
unavoidably cause such obstruction or hindrance by
anchoring, being wrecked, or otherwise, in stress of
weather.

AN ACT to amend an Act entitled, an Act authoris-
ing the Commissioners of Washington county, to
lay off a New Election District in Washington
county, and the Polls to be held at Sandy Hook,
passed March twenty-fourth, eighteen hundred and
fifty-two.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the commissioners of Washington
county, or a majority of them, shall, on or before the
first Monday of July, eighteen hundred and fifty-three,
return, under their hands and seals, an account of their
proceedings in the case, as embraced in the original
act, to the clerk of the Circuit court for Washington
county, whose duly it shall be to record the same
among the land records of said county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the third section
of the original act, to which this is a supplement,
which provides for the commissioners making their re-
turn to the clerk of the county instead of the clerk of
the Circuit court for Washington county, be, and the
same is hereby repealed.
