Delegates, and the public documents of the present
session of the General Assembly, ten thousand dol-
lars. For the expense of filing and recording in the
office of the Clerk of the Court of Appeals, the laws
and resolutions of the present session of the General
Assembly, five hundred dollars. For the expense of
preparing indexes to the laws of the present session, and
to the journals and documents of the Senate and House
of Delegates, four hundred and fifty dollars. For the
purchase of the necessary fuel and lights for the use of
the Senate and House of Delegates, and for the public
offices at the seat of Government, sixteen hundred dol-
lars. For the purchase of the necessary stationery of
all kinds, for the use of the Senate and House of Dele-
gates, for the Library, and for the public offices at the
seat of government, two thousand dollars. For the
payment of the postage of the Legislature, and of the
public officers at the seat of government, four thou-
sand dollars. For the salary of the Governor of this
State, three thousand six hundred dollars. For the
salary of the Secretary of State, one thousand dollars.
For the salary of the Messenger to the Governor, four
hundred and fifty dollars. For the contingent fund,
provided for in the Constitution, to be placed at the
disposal of the Executive, four thousand dollars. For
the salary of the Comptroller of the Treasury Depart-
ment, two thousand five hundred dollars. For the
salary of the Clerk in the office of the Comptroller of
the Treasury Department, one thousand dollars. For
the expense of printing the annual report of the Comp-
troller of the Treasury Department, five hundred and
fifty dollars. For the salary of the Treasurer of this
State, two thousand five hundred dollars. For the
salary of the Clerk in the office of the Treasurer, one
thousand dollars. For the expense of account books,
plates for the certificates of the public debt of this
State, printing, and all necessary expenses for furnish-
ing the Treasury Department, and for the preservation
of the accounts, records, and papers thereof, one thou-
sand two hundred dollars. For the salary of the Li-
brarian, one thousand dollars. For the augmentation
of the Library, pursuant to resolution number seventy-
three, of December session, eighteen hundred and thirty-
two, five hundred dollars. For binding books in the
Library, six hundred dollars. For the expense of
lights, of porterage and freights, of the purchase of sta-
tionery, of menial service, of advertising and printing,
and other incidental expenses of the library, seven
hundred dollars. For the salary of the Superintendent
of the public buildings in the State House circle, fifty
