CHAPTER 3.

An Act authorising the Levy Court of Baltimore
county to assess and levy a sum of money for the
purpose of repairing the Liberty-Town road.
|
Levy court to
assess 400 dolls.
|
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the levy court of Baltimore county
shall, and they are hereby authorised, immediately
after the passage of this act, or as soon thereafter as
possible, to assess and levy on the assessable property
of said county, four hundred dollars, for the purpose
of amending the Liberty-Town road, and making the
same passable.

Levy court to
appoint super-
visors — Their
Duties, &c.
|
AND BE IT ENACTED, That the said levy court
shall immediately, or as soon as possible after the said
money is levied, appoint a supervisor or supervisors,
who shall, under their direction, lay out the said money
in repairing the bridges and mending the worst places
in the said roads and making the same passable for
loaded waggons, bet ween where it intersects the Reis-
ter's-town turnpike and Freedom-town.

A further additional Supplement to the act entit-
led, An act to confirm a road in Harford and
Baltimore counties, therein mentioned.

Levy court to
appoint as
overseer.
|
BE IT ENACTED By the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the justices of the levy court of Bal«
timore county, be, and they are hereby authorised and
directed, as soon as may be after the passage of this
act, to appoint an overseer on that part of the road in
the original act mentioned, passed at November ses-
sion eighteen hundred and ten, chapter sixty four, to
which this is a further supplement, so far as the same
may be in Baltimore county; and that the same shall
be kept in repair as other public roads in said county
are kept in repair.
