also. That the said John Deitrick Krantz shall, within
twelve months after he is capable of becoming a citi-
zen, naturalize himself agreeably to the laws of the
United States; but if the said John Deitrick Krantz
should die before he becomes naturalized, nothing in
this proviso shall prevent him from transmitting or
transferring his said property, by descent or devise,

to any person or persons capable in law to hold the same.

CHAPTER 42.

 

An act to authorise and empower the Levy court
of Anne-Arundel county, to assess and levy a
sum of money for the purpose therein mentioned.

Passed Dec. 27,
1811.

BE; IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the justices of the levy court of
Anne-Arundel county shall, and they are hereby di-
rected, at their levy court annually, to assess and levy
on the assessable property of said county, a sum of
money not exceeding thirty dollars, for the support
and maintenance of Elizabeth Williams, of said
county, and that the same be collected annually by
the collector of Anne-Arundel comity, and paid to the
said Elizabeth Williams, or to her order.

CHAPTER 43.

 

An act for the relief of Lemuel Warfield, of the
city of Baltimore.

Passed Dec. 27,
1811.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That it shall and may be lawful for Balti-
more county court, or any one of the judges thereof,
during the recess of said court, to extend to the said
Lemuel Warfield, all the benefits, advantages and pro-
visions of the act passed at November session eigh-
teen hundred and five, entitled, " An act for the relief
of sundry insolvent debtors, " and its several suppled
ments, without the said Lemuel Warfield being re-
quired to produce to the said court, or to the said
judge, in the recess of the said court, the assent in
writing, of so many of his creditors as have due to
them in amount, two thirds of the debts owing by the
said Lemuel Warfield; and that the said court, or one
of the judges thereof during the recess of the same,
may extend to the said Lemuel Warfield, the benefit
