RESOLUTIONS,

1812.

a sale is made of the whole or of any part thereof, ne
shall pay the amount of sales into the treasury, mak-
ing a deduction of four per cent for his services.

No. 34.

Resolved, That the Treasurer of the Western Shore
be, and he is hereby authorised and required to pay an-
nually in quarterly payments, to Frederick Bennet, of
Dorchester county, an old revolutionary soldier, the
half pay of a corporal during the remainder of his life,
as a remuneration for his meritorious services.

For the repair
of the stadt-
house,

No. 35.

Resolved, That the Treasurer of the Western Shore
be, and he is hereby directed to pay to the order of
the Executive, the sum of seven hundred dollars; or
so much thereof as may be deemed by the Executive
sufficient to complete the repairs of the stadt-house.

No. 36.

Resolved, That the Treasurer of the Western Shore
be, and he is hereby requested to pay unto Robert
Halkerstone, of Charles county, Edward Tillard of
Montgomery county, John McCoy, John S. Belt, Gas-
saway Watkins, Cornelius H. Mills and John J. Jacob,
and each and every of them, or their order, the sum of
one hundred and twenty-five dollars, annually, during
their lives, in quarterly payments, out of any unappro-
priated monies in the treasury.

Resolved, That the Treasurer of the Western Shore
be, and he is hereby authorised and required to pay an r
nually, in quarterly payments, to. Zadok Harvy of
Dorchester county, an old revolutionary soldier, the
half-pay of a private during the remainder of his. life,
as a remuneration for his meritorious services.

Resolved, That the treasurer of the Western Shore
be, and he is hereby directed to pay to the governors
and visitors of Saint John's college annually, or to
their order, the sum of one thousand dollars as a dona-
tion to said College.

Resolved, That the treasurer of the Western Shore
be, and he is hereby directed to pay to the trustees of
Hillsborough School, in Caroline county, on the first
