of the balance due the state; on condition only, that
the said Alexius Boone and his securities shall punc-
tually pay to the Treasurer of the Western Shore, oil
or before the first day of January eighteen hundred
and thirteen, the principal of the balance due the state,
with interest on the same at the rate of six per cent
per annum, together with all costs on said judgments;
Provided, That the judgments aforesaid shall be in
full force, and continue, notwithstanding the suspen-
sion directed by this resolution; and that if the said
Alexius Boone and his securities shall fail in said pay-
ment, they shall forfeit the benefit of this resolution,

and shall be liable to be proceeded against immediate-
ly, for the whole of the said debts and costs and the
fifteen per cent interest, now payable thereon.

Resolved, That Benjamin G Jones, late sheriff of Har-
ford county, be released from the payment of the fifteen
per cent interest on the balance due by him to the state,
upon his paying the said balance with six per cent in-
terest on the same, on or before the first day of Janu-
ary, eighteen hundred and thirteen; Provided, That no-
thing herein contained shall prevent the state of Ma-
ryland from prosecuting to judgment the suits institut-
ed by the state in Harford county court, against the
said Benjamin G. Jones and his securities.

Resolved, That the Executive be, and they are here-
by directed to forward to the clerks of the several
counties in this state, and to the register of wills there-
of, one copy of Chancellor Kilty's Reports of the Eng-
lish and British Statutes, for the use of the said courts;
two for the court of appeals, and one for the high
court of chancery.

Resolved, That the chief clerk to the house of dele-
gates be, and he is hereby authorised and empowered
to make sale of nine hundred and fifty volumes of Chan-
cellor Kilty's compilation of English and British Sta-
tutes, together with the copy-right belonging to the
state of Maryland; and the said chief clerk shall, be-
fore he proceeds to make sale of any of the said books,
give bond for the faithful performance of his duty to
the state of Maryland, with security to be approved
by the governor and council; which bond shall be
lodged in the treasury of the Western Shore; and the
said chief clerk shall, after his having given the said
bond, proceed to dispose of the said books. And when
