various circumstances he has not been able to com-
plete his collection within the time limited: — There-
fore,

He may collect
until the 1st of
December,
1812.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the said Thomas Ennalls be, and ne
is hereby authorised to collect until the first day of De-
cember eighteen hundred and twelve, all balances
clue him as sheriff and collector of Dorchester county,
in the same manner as he could or might have done
within the time limited by law; any law to the con-
trary notwithstanding.

His duty previ-
ous to execu-
tion, &c for of-
ficers' fees.

2. AMD BE IT ENACTED, That it shall be the
duty of the said Thomas Ennalls, before he proceed to
execute or distrain the property of any person or per-
sons for officers' fees or public dues in virtue of this
act, to deliver to such person or persons, chargeable
with the same, at least thirty days previous to levying
such execution or distress, an account written in
words at full length, of the officers' fees or public dues
demanded of him, her or them, with an affidavit an-
nexed, if required, that he hath not received any part
thereof, nor any thing as security or satisfaction for
the same more than credits given, to the best of his
knowledge.

He shall lodge a
copy of his col-
lection books in
the county
clerk's office.

3. AND BE IT ENACTED, That the said Tho-
mas Ennalls, before he derives any benefit from or un-
der this act, shall lodge a copy of his collection books
in the clerk's office of Dorchester county, to be opened
for the inspection of all persons interested in the
same.

A farther additional Supplement to the act enti-
tled, An act to direct descents.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, by an act of Assembly passed at No-
vember session eighteen hundred and ten, entitled, A
further additional supplement to an act entitled, An
act to direct descents, a mistake has been committed
in point of date in referring to an antecedent law; for
remedy whereof, and for other purposes,

Persons entitled
to a life-estate,
in an undivided
part of any real
estate by deed
or devise.

BE "IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That where any person is entitled by
deed or devise to a life estate in an undivided part of
the real estate of any deceased person, the same pro-
ceedings shall be had as are directed with regard to
tenancies by the courtesy, by an act gassed at Novem-
ber session eighteen hundred and nine, chapter one
