CHAPTER 20.

An. act to give validity to a deed from George
McCullough and Isabella his wife, to David
Strohm.
|

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a deed of conveyance from George
McCullough and Isabella his wife, of Lancaster county,
in the state of Pennsylvania, to David Strohm of the
same place, of a tract of land called Millfield, lying
and being in Cecil county, dated on the twenty-first
day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and five, and acknowledged before J. H.
Cromwell and James Sims, two justice's of the peace
for Cecil county, shall have the same force, operation
and effect, to all intents and purposes whatsoever, as if
the said deed had been recorded according to law,
among the land records of Cecil county: Provided,
That the said deed shall be recorded among the land
records cf Cecil county, within six months after the
passage of this act: And provided also., That no title
acquired, or that shall hereafter be acquired before
the recording of said deed, by any person, from the
said George McCullough, by deed or other conveyance,
shall be in any manner affected or impaired by the pas-
sage of this act.

CHAPTER 21.

A Supplement to the act entitled, An act to em-
power the inhabitants of the town of Havre-de-
Grace, to elect the, commissioners thereof.
|

WHEREAS, By the second section of the act to
which this is a supplement, the commissioners of the
town of Havre-de-Grace were directed to call a meet-
Ing of the people of said town on a certain day therein
mentioned, for the purpose of choosing judges to hold
an election for electing the commissioners of said
town, which they have neglected to do, in conse-
quence of which, the law has never been carried into
effect: Therefore,

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That it shall and may be lawful for the
people of the town of Havre-de-Grace, to assemble at
some convenient house in said town, on the first Mon-
day in January next, and on the game day in every
|

elect judges,
