her, or their heirs and assigns forever, all the right,
title, interest and estate which Mark Guishard had in
and to the lands and premises aforesaid; which said
purchaser or purchasers, and his, her or their heirs and
assigns, on payment of the purchase money, with in-
terest thereon, shall have and hold the said lands and
premises respectively, free and clear of all claims and
demands of the heirs of the said Mark Guishard and their
heirs forever; Provided nevertheless, That the said Da-
vid Guishard, before he proceeds to the said sale, shall
give bond to the state of Maryland, with two securities
to be approved of by the orphans' court of Baltimore
county, in the penalty of five hundred dollars, condi-
tioned for the faithful performance of the trust in him
reposed by this act of Assembly; which bond shall,
after having been approved of by the justices of the
orphans' court of Baltimore county, be recorded
among the land records of said county; and upon such
bond, or an office copy thereof, suit or suits may be in-
stituted against the obligors therein, or any of them,
for any breach of, or non-compliance with the condi-
tion thereof, by any person interested therein.

AND BE IT ENACTED, That the said trustee
shall, as soon as conveniently may be after the said
sale, return a true and just account thereof on oath,
to the orphans' court of Baltimore county, there to be
recorded.

Monies arising
from said sale—
how to be dis-
tributed, and
applied.

AND BE IT ENACTED, That the monies aris-
ing from the said sale, after deducting the expenses
incurred thereby, shall be distributed and applied by
the said trustee in the following manner, to wit: one-
eighth part thereof shall be paid over to the widow of
the said Mark Guishard, in bar and full satisfaction of
her dower in said land, and the residue thereof, after
satisfying and paying all just debts due and owing
from the said Mark Guishard, shall be applied by the
said trustee to the repairing the leasehold property.

1811.

An act to appoint commissioners to grade, level,
pave and repair the streets, squares, lanes and
alleys in that part of the Eastern precincts of
Baltimore therein described, and for other
purposes.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General As-
sembly, by the petition of sundry owners of property
