CHAPTER 129.

1811.

A further additional supplement to an act ent if led,
" An act to establish a Market in Frederick-
town, in Frederick county, and for the regula-
tion of the said Market. "

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the second section of an act of as-
sembly passed at November session eighteen hun-
dred and tive, chapter thirty-nine, entitled, " A further
additional supplement to an act entitled, An act to
establish a market in Frederick town, in Frederick
county, and for the regulation of the said market, be,
and the same is hereby repealed.

An act to lay out and open a road in Prince
Georges county, and for other purposes.

1811.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the main road leading from the East
ern Branch bridge in the district of Columbia, to
wards Robert Dodson's tavern, from the place where
the line of the said district intersects the said road, to
-a bend in (he same, about half a mile from said tavern,
shah be extended to the width of forty feet, and shall
be opened under the direction of the commissioners
hereinafter mentioned.

AND BE IT ENACTED, That Francis Magru-
der, John S. Magruder and Elisha Gray be, and they
are hereby appointed commissioners to carry into ef-
fect the provisions of this act; mid they, or a majority
of them are hereby authorised to lay off, mark and
open a road in the straightest direction, from the said
bend, to intersect the old road at a place called So-
per's old field; and the said road shall be also forty
lect wide, and shall be located and made by the per-
sons interested in the same, ana when so located and
made, shall become the property of the county, and
shall: be kept in repair as other county roads are; and
when the said commissioners, or a majority of them
shall have surveyed and marked the location of the
said road, they shall sign a plot of the same, and
cause it to be recorded amongst the records of Prince
George's county.
