No. 51.

Passed Mar. 4,
1850.

Resolution in favor of Samuel Harrington.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Treasurer be, and he is hereby authorised and
directed to pay to Samuel Harrington, trustee of the
late Elizabeth Frazier, or to his order, eighteen dollars
and twenty-two cents, it being the amount of pension
due said Elizabeth Frazier, at the time of her death.

Resolutions relative to a compilation of the Revenue
Laws.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Edward O. Hinkley and Charles S. Carter,
Esquires, are hereby appointed to collect and arrange
in one volume, the various revenues laws passed
since the year eighteen and forty, and which shall be
in force after the present session of the Legislature,
(exclusive of those relating to licenses generally and,
auctioneers,) together with marginal notes, referring
both to the laws themselves and to the decisions of the
Court of Appeals under the same, and a full and accu-
rate index of all the contents of said volume.
Resolved, That the Librarian furnish the aforesaid
gentlemen two copies of each volume of the Laws of
Maryland, published since eighteen hundred and forty.
Resolved, That if the said Edward O. Hinkley and
Charles S. Carter, shall on or before the first day of
July next, deliver to the Librarian of Maryland, a
complete collection of the revenue laws prepared as
aforesaid, the Treasurer of this State shall pay to
each the sum of one hundred dollars, in full compen-
sation for preparing the same.
Resolved, That when the Librarian has received the
volume so prepared, he shall contract with such per-
son as he shall deem proper for printing five hun-
dred copies of the same, which shall be distributed,
in the following manner to wit: two copies to each
levy court and board of commissioners or appeal tax
court, two copies to each clerk of county court and
of Howard District, and the clerk of the city court of
Baltimore, two copies to each register of wills, to be
