An act for the relief of Benjamin R. Meredith, of the
City of Baltimore.
|
|
|
Have benefit.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the commissioners of insolvent debtors for the city
and county of Baltimore, be and they are hereby
authorised and directed, to hear, consider and determine
the application of Benjamin R. Meredith, for the benefit
of the insolvent laws of this State, in the same way and
manner, and with the same effect, as if he had not
applied for the benefit of the insolvent laws of this State
within the last two years.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That, the Court of Appeals for the Western Shore, are
hereby authorised and required, to entertain an appeal
from a judgment, rendered by Montgomery county
court, at its November term, eighteen hundred and
forty-four, in a cause upon the trial docket, number one
hundred, wherein the State of Maryland is plaintiff, and
John G. England, Lemuel Clements and William O.
Chappell , are defendants, as fully as if the said appeal
had been taken within the time limited for taking ap-

peals in such cases; provided, that said appeal be taken
on or before the first day of May next.
