An act for the relief of Marmaduke W. Conner, of
Annapolis, and his sureties.
|

Execution to
be stayed.
|
Be it, enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the slay of execution on two judgments obtained
by the State, against Marmaduke W. Connor, as col-
lector of State taxes in and for Annapolis city, and his
sureties, Samuel Gover and Jacob C. Tolson, on the
record of Anne Arundel county court, numbers one
hundred and eighty-six, and one hundred and eighty-
seven, trials of October term, eighteen hundred and
forty-nine, be extended until the first day of January,

Proviso.
|
eighteen hundred and fifty-two; provided, the said
Gover and Tolson file their assent to the passage of
this bill, in writing, in the clerk's office of Anne
Arundel county court, on or before the fourth Monday
of April next.

An act to incorporate the Georgian Association of So-
merset county.
|

|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Thomas W. Stone, Levin Woolford,
Edward Crosdale, George S. Atkinson, Henry A.
White, Isaac S. Atkinson, Levin L. Waters, and
George Dennis, of Somerset county, be and they are
hereby created a corporation, for the encouragement of
agriculture, by the name and style of the Georgian
Association, and by that name shall have perpetual
succession, may take, hold and possess real and per-
sonal estate, not exceeding five thousand dollars in
value, and the same grant, sell and convey, and shall
have full power and authority to establish agricultural
exhibitions, and regulate the same, grant premiums,
and do any matter or thing in its judgment conducive
to the promotion of agriculture in the said county, it
shall keep a journal of its proceedings, and establish
rules and regulations for its own government, and the
