SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That this corporation
shall enure and continue for the period of thirty years
from its passage, and that it shall not be permitted to is-
sue any note, token, device, scrip, or other evidence of
debt, to be used as currency.

SEC. 11. And be it enacted, That the General As-
sembly of Maryland reserves to itself the right to change,

alter, or amend this act of incorporation, at any time.
SEC. 12. And be it enacted, That the said corpora-
tion shall have the right of making bye-laws for its own
government, from time to time, as may be necessary,

bye-laws.

and the same to alter or amend; provided, the same
are consistent with this act, and are not inconsistent
with the laws of Maryland, or of the United States.

An act for the relief of Joseph E. Hopkins, of Harford
County.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the commissioners of Harford county, be and they
are hereby authorised and required to levy for the use
of Joseph E. Hopkins, a lunatic, in the Maryland hos-
pital, such a sum as is usually levied for lunatic paupers,
who are placed in said hospital, and that the same be
levied annually, so long as said Hopkins is confined in
said hospital and pay to the president thereof.
