CHAP. 393.

the store George W. L. Buckler, and running from
thence, through the farms of George W. L. Buckler,
William Reeder, and William O. Reeder, to the afore-
said landing, authorised in the first section of this act, to
be laid out at the mouth of said Horse Landing creek.

To cause plat
to be made out.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That paid commissioners,
or a majority of them, are hereby directed to return a
plot of said landing and road, when surveyed, marked,
laid out, and made public as aforesaid, to the clerk of
Saint Mary's county court, to be by him recorded,
which landing and road shall forever hereafter be
deemed and taken as a public road and landing, and
shall be kept up and repaired as other public roads and
landings in said county are.

Expenses, etc.,
how paid.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That mid commission-

ers, or a majority of them, shall ascertain the amount of
damages which any person or persons may sustain, by
the laying out, marking and condemning said lot of
ground and road, which amount they shall return to the
commissioners of tax for Saint Mary's county, who are
hereby directed and authorised to levy upon the assessa-
ble properly of said county, a sum sufficient to cover all
damages, and pay the same to the person or persons en-
titled thereto, including two dollars each, for every day
said commissioners shall attend in the discharge of the
duties enjoined upon them, and a reasonable compen-
sation to the survey or for his services, by virtue of this
act.

Right of appeal
secured.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That should any person
or persons through whose lands the said road is to pass,
and whose lands are hereby ordered to be condemned, as
a public landing, deem himself or themselves aggrieved
by the action of said commissioners herein authorised to
be appointed, he or they shall have the right of appeal
thereon to Saint Mary's county court, the judges of
which shall have power to hear and determine all mat-
ters connected therewith.

An act for the relief of Edward Dorsey, of Richard.

Time allowed.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the time of Edward Dorsey, of
Richard, collector of State and County taxes, for the
