CHAPTER 333.

An act to allow John S. Ensor, of Baltimore county,
further time to complete his collection.

CHAP. 334.

Passed March
6, 1850.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That it shall and may be lawful for
John S. Ensor, former collector of lax of said county,
to proceed in the collection of all arrearages of tax
placed in his hands for collection, according to exist-
ing tax laws, and in as full and ample a manner as if
said taxes had been collected in the respective years
as they became due, and he shall have the same power
as if he had collected the tax within the year, any law
to the contrary notwithstanding.

Time extended.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the aforesaid col-
lector named in the first section of this act, shall, in
every instance, before he shall proceed to the collec-
tion of the tax, make affidavit before some justice of
the peace of said county, that the same remains un-
paid, and that he has not received any security or sa-
tisfaction for the same, or any part thereof, more than
what, credits may he given.

To make oath.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this law shall be in
force for two years after its passage, and no longer.

CHAPTER 334.

In force.

An act relating to the School Fund, of Washington
county.

Passed March
6, 1850.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That from and after the passage of this
act, the commissioners of the county of Washington,
shall require the interest upon the capital of the school
fund of said county to be punctually paid, and should
any person or persons, body politic or corporation,
neglect or refuse to pay the interest as aforesaid, upon
such amount of said fund as may have been loaned
to him, her, or them, the commissioners aforesaid shall
cause the amount due from such person or persons,
body politic or corporation, both principal and interest,
to be collected in the most summary manner.
