An act to allow William Rose, former Collector of
Talbot county, further time to complete his collec-
tions.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That William Rose, late Collector of
Talbot county, be and he is hereby authorised and
empowered to collect any and all taxes, or balances
of taxes now remaining due and uncollected by him,
in the county aforesaid, in the same manner and with
the same privileges and powers he could or might
have done within the time limited by law.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall not
continue in force longer than one year from the date
of the passage thereof.

An act to repeal a part of an act passed at November
Session, eighteen hundred and four, chapter eighty-
two, incorporating the Town of Saint Michael's,
Talbot county, Maryland.

WHEREAS, it has been represented to this General As-
sembly, that the ninth section of an act passed at No-
vember session, eighteen hundred and four, chapter
eighty-two, being an act entitled, an act to incorporate
the town of Saint Michael's, Talbot county, Maryland,
subjects the farmers, and others, in the immediate vi-
cinity of the aforesaid town, to serious annoyance,
injury, and injustice — Therefore,

Preamble.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the said ninth section of the said act, passed at
November session, eighteen hundred and four, chap-
ter eighty-two, revived by the act of eighteen hundred
and forty seven, chapter two hundred and thirty-nine,
be and the same is hereby repealed.
|
Repealed.
