An act to regulate the Fees of the Cryer to Allegany
County Court.
|

|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That whenever, hereafter, the fees to which the cryer
of Allegany county court shall not amount on the
average, during the term of said court, to the sum of
one dollar and fifty cents per day, that the county
commissioners of Allegany county, be and they are
hereby authorised to levy such sum as may be re-
quired to make said cryer's fees amount to the sum of
one dollar and fifty cents per day for each and every
day said cryer shall he engaged in the discharge of his

duties as cryer aforesaid; provided, and it is hereby de-
clared, that the provisions of this act shall only apply
to the regular April and October terms of said Alle-
gany county court.
CHAPTER 237.

Proviso.
|
|
|
A supplement to an act entitled, an act to authorise a
Lottery, to raise a sum of money to make a Turn-
pike Road from the Town of Westminster, in Car-
roll county, through Taneytown, in said county, and
through Emmittsburg, in Frederick county, to the
Pennsylvania line, passed at December Session,
eighteen hundred and forty-six, chapter two hundred
and forty-two.

WHEREAS, It has been represented to this General
Assembly, that the provisions of the act to which this
is a supplement, will be ineffectual for the purpose
therein specified, without further legislation; and
whereas, it is also agreed by the commissioners in the

Preamble.
