CHAPTER 176.

CHAP. 177.

An act to allow William Goldsborough, late Collector
of Queen Anne's County, further time to complete
his collections.

Passed Feb. 28,
1850.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That William Goldsborough, collec-
tor of State and County taxes, for eighteen hundred and
forty-six, in Queen Anne's county, be and he is hereby
authorised to collect any and all taxes, or balances of
taxes, duo to him and now remaining uncollected for
the year in which he was collector of taxes in the said
county, in the same manner and with the same privi-
leges and powers he could or might have done within
the time limited by law.

Time allowed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said William
Goldsborough, before he proceeds to collect under and
by Virtue of this act, shall make out. and deliver to the
person or persons from whom any taxes, or balances of
taxes, may be demanded, on account of the taxes or
balances due from such person or persons, and annex
thereto an affidavit that the same is due and unpaid.

Oath required.

SEC 3. And be it enacted, That the authority here-
by given shall continue until the first day of December,
in the year eighteen hundred and fifty-one, and no
longer.

CHAPTER 177.

In force.

An act to reduce the present rates of premiums on
Wolf, Wild Cats, and Foxes Scalps, in Allegany
county.

1, 1850.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That from and after the passage of this
act, the amount levied and paid for the destruction of
wild animals in Allegany county, shall be as follows:—
for each and every old wolf's scalp the sum of fifteen
dollars, for each and every young wolf's scalp the sum
of five dollars, for each and every wild cat's scalp the sum
of seventy-five cents, for each and every Fox scalp the
