CHAP. 126.

county road leading from said town to Crotchet's Ferry,
thence southerly, in a line parallel with Back street, half
a mile, or till a line drawn from the end of the division-
al line between Henry Wilcox's meadow lot, and Sam-
uel S. Craft's land, at the edge of Nanticoke river, and
running with said divisional line, intersects the said
southerly line, thence with said divisional line to the
aforesaid river, and thence with the said river and bind-
ing therewith to the place of beginning.

2d and 9th sec-
tions repealed.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That the second and
ninth sections of the original act, to which this is a sup-
plement, be and the same are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 126.

Passed Feb. 12,
1850.

An act to change the location of District School, Num-
ber Four, in the lower election District of Caroline
county.

Trustees to
remove.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the trustees of district school, num-
ber four, in the lower election district of Caroline coun-
ty, be authorised and empowered to remove at pleasure,
the said school house, styled and known as district school
number four, to a place called Willis' Cross Roads, up-
on the lot belonging to the trustees in trust of Bethlehem
church, in said district; provided, the trustees of said
church, grant the privilege of locating said school house
on their lot, or if the trustees of said school, select
another place more suitable, they are at liberty to do so
in like manner.

Expenses — by
whom paid.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the trustees and pa-
trons of said school shall incur all expenses caused by
a removal and different location of the same

Benefits — to
whom to re-

sult.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That all benefits that
would accrue in the location of the school as it now ex-
ists, shall hereafter accrue, and the same benefits result
in its favor, when located as above described, to the
trustees and patrons under the existing laws, rules and
regulations; and the authority is hereby given to the
charity school commissioners of the lower election dis-
trict of said county, to make and consider said school
one of the located district schools upon the same footing
as all other located schools are, in respect to the charily
funds, and all other benefits under their control, or the
justices of the orphans court by the existing laws.
