An act entitled, an act to make valid a deed from Da-
vid McKinzie and wife to John Dabbs.

fie it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a deed dated the tenth day of June, in the year
eighteen hundred and forty-five, from David McKinzie
and wife to John Dabbs, be and the same is hereby de-
clared to be as valid and available in law, for all intents
and purposes, as if the same had been stamped as re-

quired by law; provided, that the duty chargeable by

law, on said deed shall be paid to the clerk of the
court of Howard District, of Anne Arundel county,
within one month after the passage of this act.

CHAPTER 116.

Proviso.

An act to incorporate the Trustees of the Parsonage
of Annamessex Circuit of Somerset County.

Feb. 22, 1850.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That Daniel Miles, John Waters,
Thomas E. Ballard, Henry T. Davey, Nathan C.
Conner, James Lawson, and William Anderson, of
Somerset county, and their successors, appointed as
hereinafter directed, be and the same are hereby in-
corporated and made a body corporate and politic, by
the name of the Trustees of the Parsonage of Anna-
messex Circuit, and by that name shall have succes-
sion, and be able and capable to sue and be sued, to
plead and be impleaded, in any court of law and
equity, and may have and use a common seal, and
the same alter and renew at pleasure, and the said
body corporate shall have power to hold any and all
property belonging to and claimed by said circuit, as
and for a parsonage, for the use of the Methodist
Episcopal Church.

Incorporated,
&c.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the authority of the
Methodist Episcopal Church, in the said Annamessex
Circuit, shall have full power to appoint, from time to
time, the successors to the above named corporators,
and the successors appointed by such authority, shall
