Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the time limited by the act to which this is
an additional supplement, within which the commis-
sioners therein provided for shall accomplish their
duties, be and the same is hereby extended for two
years from the passage of this act.

An act to make valid the acts of a Judge of the Magis-
trates Courts of the first District of Worcester County.
WHEREAS, William Townsend did not qualify as a
judge of magistrates court in the first district of Wor-
cester county within the time allowed by law for him
so to do; and whereas, the said William Townsend has
performed many acts in the capacity of a judge of such
court aforesaid, under a commission issued by the Gover-
nor of Maryland: in order that the acts of the said Wil-
liam Townsend may be made good and valid in law —

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That all the acts and proceedings of William Townsend,
a judge of the magistrates court, appointed in and for
district number one of Worcester county, be and they
are hereby declared to be as valid in law, as if the said
William Townsend had qualified within the time limit-
ed by law.
