CHAPTER 93.

An act to authorise the Levy Court of Prince George's
County, to sell a part of the Tobacco Inspection
Warehouse in the Town of Upper Marlborough, in
said County.

sell.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the levy court of Prince George's county, be and
they are hereby authorised to sell a part of the tobacco
inspection warehouse in the town of Upper Maryborough,
in said county, if in their opinion a sale thereof be
necessary, and require the purchaser to remove the
same as soon as practicable, and apply the proceeds
thereof to repairing the residue of said warehouse if
deemed necessary.

An act to authorise and empower Thomas H. Ford, to
complete the collections of Andrew Johnson, deceased,
late Sheriff of Queen Anne's County, and to give
him further time so to do.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, Andrew Johnson, late sheriff of Queen
Anne's county, departed this life not having comple-
ted the collection of his own fees as sheriff, nor the
fees due to the different officers which had been
placed in his hands, as sheriff for collection, and
whereas, Thomas M. Ford has been appointed the
administrator of said Andrew Johnson, deceased, as
also the collector of the fees, in the hands of said
Johnson, by the Orphans court of Queen Anne's county,
and has given bond to the State of Maryland for the
discharge of said trusts.

Empowered to
collect.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Thomas H. Ford be, and he
is hereby authorised and empowered, to collect any
and all fees or balances of fees due the late Andrew
Johnson as sheriff, as also all fees or balances of fees,
which were in his hands for collection as sheriff afore-
said,and now remaining uncollected for the several years
in which the said Andrew Johnson, deceased, was sher-
iff in the said county, in the same manner and with the
same privileges and powers as the said Andrew John-
