CHAP. 80.

CHAPTER 79.

An act to authorise the commissioners of tax for Carroll
county, in their discretion, to levy a sum of money to
build a bridge over Big Pipe creek in said county.

Time extend-
ed.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the time fixed by the act of December
session eighteen hundred and forty-five, chapter thirty-
eight, at which the commissioners of tax for Carroll coun-
ty are directed, in their discretion,to levy a certain sum of
money to build a bridge over Big Pipe creek, at or near
the crossing of the county road leading from Taney-
town to Middleburg in said county, be and the same is
hereby extended five years from the first day of April
next.

Repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That so much of the
said act as relates to the appointment of three commis-
sioners to contract for the building of said bridge, be and
the same is hereby repealed.

May make
contracts.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the commissioners
of tax for said county are hereby authorised at the pro-
per time to receive proposals, and make such contract
for the building of said bridge as to them may seem just
and proper.

CHAPTER 80.

Divorced.

An act to divorce Susannna Hildebrandt from her husband
Nicholas William G. Hildebrandt, of Baltimore city.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the marriage contract heretofore had and
solemnized between Susanna Hildebrandt, and Nich-
olas William G. Hildebrandt, formerly of Hamburg,
but now of Baltimore city, State of "Maryland, be and
the same is hereby declared to be henceforth and forever
null and void, and the said parties are hereby declared
to be divorced a vinculo matrimonii.

To have cus-
tody of child.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Susanna, be
and she is hereby declared to be entitled to the custody
and guardianship of her child by her marriage with said
Nicholas.
