Resolution in favor of George L. Magruder and A. H.
Gambrill.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer be and he is hereby authorised and direct-
ed to pay to George L. Magruder and A H. Gambrill,
each the sum of twelve dollars, for their services as as-
distant committee clerks to the Senate.

Resolution in favor of George E. Gambrill.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer be and he is hereby authorised and
directed to pay to George E. Gambrill, the sum of five
dollars for his services as clerk to the special commit-
tee to investigate the condition of the Tobacco Ware-
houses.

Resolutions in favor of the Committee appointed to carry
into effect the provisions of Resolution No 8, of Dec.
session, eighteen hundred and forty.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the committee to be appointed under the Resolution
number eight, of eighteen hundred and forty, are here-
by authorised to perform the duties assigned to them
during the recess of the Legislature, and to make report
to the Governor, to be communicated by him to the
Legislature at its next session.
Resolved, That the Treasurer pay the members of the
committee the sum of four dollars for each and every
day in which they shall be engaged in the discharge of
their duty.
