Resolution authorising the State Librarian to have the
roof of the State House repaired.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the State Librarian be and is hereby authorised to con-
tract with some competent person or persons for the
necessary and proper repair of the roof of the State
House, and the Treasurer pay the cost thereof out of
any unappropriated monies in the Treasury; provided,
the amount does not exceed the sum of six hundred
dollars.

Resolution authorising the Governor to lease certain
vacant lots.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
His Excellency the Governor he and he is hereby au-
thorised to let out to any person or persons desiring to
lease the same, any vacant or unoccupied lot or lots ly-
ing within the limits of Maryland and belonging to the
State, for such time and on such terms as he may deem
reasonable and most conducive to the public interest,
the rents and profits arising from the letting out of any
such lot or lots belonging to the tobacco fund of the
State, shall he received and charged by the Treasurer
for and on account of the said tobacco fund, the resi-

Resolutions relating to the Baltimore Hospital.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore be and he is here-
by authorised and directed to pay to the president and
visitors of the Maryland Hospital, or to their order, the
sum of five thousand dollars, after the passage of this
resolution, to be by them applied for the benefit and im-
