RESOLUTIONS.

1847.

hereby declared to attach to all officers and militia of
this State, and to be in full force.
Resolved, That the commission of any militia officer in
this State, who does not provide himself with the neces-
sary and proper uniform for his rank and command, on
or before the first day of October next, and so report to
the Adjutant General of this State, is hereby declared to
be vacated and his name stricken from the roll.

Resolved, That the Adjutant General of Maryland be
and he is hereby ordered and directed to furnish a copy
of these resolutions to the commander of each division
and brigade in the State, on or before the first day of
June next.

No. 85.

Resolutions authorising the District Attorney for Anne
Arundel County to sell certain property in the

city of Annapolis, belonging to the State.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the District Attorney for Anne Arundel county, be and
he is hereby authorised and directed to expose at public
sale, and to sell to the highest bidder, either for cash or
on a credit not exceeding two years, as he may deem
most advantageous, the property belonging to the State
situated in the city of Annapolis, near the rail road
depot, and known by the name of the Western Hotel,
and at present tenanted by Edward A. Davis.
Resolved further, That it shall be the duty of the Dis-
trict Attorney aforesaid to give notice of said sale, at
least six weeks, by publishing the same in a newspaper
at Annapolis and in the city of Baltimore.
And be it further resolved, That as soon as the date of
said property is made, the District Attorney aforesaid
shall immediately notify the treasurer of the terms of
said sale, and of the person or persons to whom made,
and that he shall be allowed on the gross amount of said
sale, after paying the necessary expenses of advertising,
live per centum as compensation for his trouble and
services.
And be it further resolved, That the District Attorney
aforesaid is empowered and authorised to collect the
rents now due on said property, and pay the same over
to the Treasurer, for which collection and payment he
shall be entitled to five per centum.
