Preamble and resolution in favor of the Deputy At-
torney General of Frederick county.
WHEREAS, The Attorney General was directed by
law to institute legal proceedings for the forfeiture of the
charter of the Frederick female Seminary — Therefore,
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the treasurer be directed to pay to the deputy attorney
for said county such sum as the governor shall adjudge
a fair compensation of his services in conducting said
proceedings.

Resolution in favor of the members who may be de-
tained by sickness.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the State pay to such members of the
legislature as may be detained at the seat of govern-
ment by sickness, four dollars per day during such de-
tention.

Resolution in favor of Samuel Spalding.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of Maryland be and he is hereby author-
ised to pay over to Samuel Spalding, of Baltimore city,
the sum of nineteen dollars and six cents, being the
balance of pension due to the late Daniel Spalding, a
revolutionary soldier, at the time of his death; provided,
the said treasurer is satisfied by proof that the said Sam-
uel Spalding is the only heir entitled to receive the same
