CHAP. 326.

fore,
|

Declared to be
a public road.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the road leading from the town
of Easton, in Talbot county, to Easton Point
be and the same is hereby declared to be a pub-
lic road of Talbot county, and as such subject as
other public roads in said county to the control and di-
rection of the commissioners of Talbot county, to be
kept in order, and preservation as other public roads in
said county.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the wharf at Easton
Point now under control of the commissioners of the
town of Easton, be and the same is hereby declared to
be subject to the order, control, management and direc-
tion of the commissioners of Talbot county.

acts repealed.
In force.
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That all acts inconsis-
tent with or repugnant to this act, be and the same are
hereby repealed, and that this act shall take effect from
and after its passage.

An act for the relief of the heirs of Rebecca C. Morris,
of Howard District.
|

Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, the children and heirs at law of Rebecca
C. Morris, late of Anne Arundel county, deceased, are
entitled to an undivided interest of one-sixth in and to
certain real estate in the State of Tennessee, described
in the return of commissioners appointed by the circuit
court of said State for Shelby county, and now in file
in the office of said court in said county, as lot number
three hundred and seventy-four, in the town of Memphis,
and county lot number five, of a tract of land called Race
Track, both of which were allotted by said court to
Rebecca Willing, who intermarried with James Morris,
and whereas, part of said property, to wit: lot number
three hundred and seventy-four is said to have been
sold for taxes; and whereas, said property being unim-
proved and yielding no interest and imposing a yearly tax
on the means of said children which they can ill afford, it
has been asked of this legislature by James Morris,
father of said children, and guardian, by his petition that
authority shall be given to him to sell, and dispose of
said property and invest the proceeds in some profita-
