1847.

CHAPTER 324.
An act to provide for the transaction of business on the
Equity side of Allegany County Court.

Mar 10, 1848.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That any one of the judges of Allegany
county court, shall have full power to pass a final
order of ratification of any sale made by any trus-
tee or trustees under and by virtue of any decree
made by Allegany county court, as a Court of equity,
when the time shall have arrived under the order of
ratification nisi for the passage of such final orders, al-
though the court shall not be in session.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That any one of the said
judges shall have full power in all plain cases where no
objections are filed, to ratify and confirm the report of
the auditor of said court distributing the proceeds of
any such sale among creditors or heirs at law or other
persons entitled to receive the same, as the case may be,
although the said court may not at the time of passing
such order of ratification be in cession.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall go
into operation from and immediately after its passage.

CHAPTER 325.

In force.

A supplement to an act entitled, an act to provide for the
appointment of Commissioners for the regulation and
improvement of Easton, in Talbot County, and to
establish and regulate a market in said Town.

Passed.
Mar 10. 1848,

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General Assem-

bly, that the above mentioned act of Assembly, the
regulation and control of the road leading from Easton
to the wharf at Easton Point, in Talbot county, was
given to the commissioners of the town of Easton; and
whereas, since that time circumstances have changed
so as to render it expedient in the opinion of the citizens
of said county, that the said road should be placed with
all other roads in said county under the control of the
county authorities, the people of the whole county be-
ing interested in the proper management and keeping in
order of said road; and whereas, a petition for this pur-
pose is now before the General Assembly of Maryland
