CHAPTER 255.
An act relating to Mortgages.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That it shall and may be lawful for the mortgagor in
any mortgage deed or conveyance executed after the
passage of this act, in addition to the covenants usual in
such deeds, to covenant for the payment of all taxes,
assessments, public dues or charges levied or to be
levied by law, on the mortgage debt or debts created
or secured by such mortgage.

CHAPTER 256.

An act to authorise the Commissioners of the Tax of

Talbot County to levy a sum of money to build a
Bridge across Knapp's Narrows in said County.

March 9, 1848.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

That the commissioners of Talbot county be and they
are hereby authorised and empowered, at their discre-
tion, at their next annual levy, to levy a sum of money
not exceeding one hundred dollars on the assessable pro-
perty of said county, to rebuild a bridge across Knapp's
narrows, in said county, to be applied by them in such
manner in the erection of the bridge as in their judg-
ment they shall deem right and proper.

CHAPTER 257.

An act for the benefit of Enoch Hunt of Baltimore

County.

Passed
March 9, 1848.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the commissioners of Baltimore county be and

they are hereby authorised and required to levy upon
the assessable properly of Baltimore county annually,
the sum of thirty dollars for the use of Enoch Hunt,
and to cause the same to be collected and paid to the
said Enoch Hunt or his order, as the case may be,
semi-annually, in the same manner that other out pen-
