CHAP. 219.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the aforesaid Tho-
mas Sater shall, in every instance before he may pro-
ceed to the aforesaid collection, make affidavit before
some justice of the peace of Carroll county that the
same remains unpaid, and that he hath not received any
security or satisfaction for the same or any part thereof,
more than what credit or credits may be allowed thereon.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall not
continue in force longer than one year from the first day
of June next after the passage of this act.

An act to divorce Richard Thomas, from his wife Su-
sanna Thomas.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the marriage contract heretofore had and solem-
nized between Richard Thomas of Cecil county, anil
his wife Susanna Thomas, be and the same is hereby
declared to be henceforth and forever null and void, and
the said parties are hereby declared to be divorced a
vinculo matrimonii.

An act authorising and directing the Commissioners of
the School Fund for Queen Anne's County, to pay
over to the Trustees of the Centreville Academy, a cer-
tain portion of said fund upon conditions therein
named.

Maryland, That from and after the passage of this act
the commissioners of the school fund for Queen Anne's
