CHAP. 172.

Distribution
to be made se-
mi-annually.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the distribution on
the basis provided for in the first section of this act,
shall be made on or before the first day of November
next and on or before the first day of November annu-
ally thereafter, and that after the first day of next No-
vember the board of primary education of Worcester
county shall be authorised .and requited to issue their
orders semi-annually to the agent of the school fund of
said county to pay to the trustees of each district, or to
a majority of them, or their order, the amount to which
said district may be entitled under the distribution of the
current, fiscal year, without reference to the length of time
said school may have been taught in said district in said
fiscal year, or the number of scholars taught therein.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That the several school
districts in said county shall be entitled to such portion
of the fund as may have been allotted to them under the
distribution for the present fiscal year, and the board of
primary education are hereby required to issue their
order to the agent of said school fund to pay to the sev-
eral boards of trustees or a majority of them, or their
order, said several sums without respect to the length of
time school may have been taught in said district, or the
number of scholars taught therein during the present

fiscal year.

the erection of
school houses.

SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That in all and every
school district of the said county where the public con-
venience may require the location of the school house
for said district on any lands in which minors, lunatics,
persons non compos menus, or non-residents may be in-
terested, or on the lands of persons of full age resident
in the county, without any legal disability, who may not
consent to such location, or who may be unwilling to
convey the same to the said board of primary education
as may now be required by law, that then and in that
case the said board of primary education shall appoint
three disinterested men, freeholders of said county, nob
residing in said district, who shall proceed with a com-
petent surveyor of the county to lay off proper marks
and bounds, not exceeding an half acre of land, for the
site of the school house for such school district, and
shall further ascertain the value of the said land and the
damages, if any, which may accrue to the parties or
persons interested therein, by such location, all of which
proceedings they shall report fully to the said board of
primary education, and on the approval thereof by the
said board, the same shall be condemned as a site for the
school house of said district, and the said board shall
