CHAP. 172.

To receive half
a share from
middle district.

Repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the trustees of said
school shall be entitled to receive one half of a schools
share, of all the schools funds in the middle election

district.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the proviso contained
in the eighth section of the act to which this is a supple-
ment be, and the same is hereby repealed, and all the
property contained within the lines laid down by the
commissioners appointed under the said act, be subject
to taxation according to the proviso of said act, for the
sole use and benefit of said Boonsborough primary

Proviso.

school; provided that nothing contained herein shall in-
terfere with the collection of the school tax already laid
for eighteen hundred and forty-seven.

CHAPTER 172.

Passed
Feb. 29, 1848.

An act supplemental to the several acts relating to the
powers and duties of the Board of Primary Educa-

tion, of Worcester County.

Reports to be
made, &c.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of,

Maryland, That the board of primary education of
Worcester county shall, as soon as practicable alter the
passage of this act, require of the several boards of
trustees of the several school districts of said county,
to report to the said board of primary education, on or
before the first Monday of October next, and annually
thereafter on or before the first Monday of October, the
names of all while children over four years of age in
their respective districts, strictly and properly entitled to

the benefit of the charity school fund of said county,
together, with the names of the parents and guardians of
such children, which said several reports it shall be the
duty of the said board of primary education, accurately
and rigidly to examine, and to remove therefromall such
as would not in their judgment be strictly entitled to

made, examined and approved shall form the basis of any
future distribution of the said fund which may be made,
by the said board of primary education.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said board of
primary education, be and they are hereby authorised
and required, in cake the citizens of any school district,
of said county shall refuse or neglect to elect the trus-
