the aforesaid collection, make affidavit, before some jus-
tice of the peace for Montgomery county, that the same
remains unpaid, and that he has not received any secur-
rity or satisfaction for the same, or any part thereof,
more than the credit allowed thereon.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall not
continue in force longer than the first day of January,
eighteen hundred and fifty.

A further supplement to the act, for enlarging the power
of the High Court of Chancery.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That in any case where a sale has been, or
shall be ordered by the court of chancery, or a county
court as a court of equity, of any reversionary estate
in lands, to which estate rent is incident, and at the time
of such sale such rent shall or may be in arrear, it shall
and may be lawful for the court to direct the trustee or
receiver, to sell the right and title to such arrears with
the estate to which it is incident, and the purchaser
thereof shall thereupon have and exercise such right of
distress, entry and action for recovery of said arrears,
as he might have had and exercised in case the title to
the said estate so purchased, had been vested in him at
the time such arrears of rent became payable.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect front the day of the passage thereof.
