To constitute
part of third
levy court dis-
trict.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That this election district
when laid out, shall constitute a part of the third levy
court district.

CHAPTER 148.

Feb. 28, 1848.

Trustees to
sell, &c.

An act to authorise the Trustees of Primary School

District number seventy-two, in Frederick County, to
sell certain land therein mentioned.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That James Brunner, Frederick Schroeder and John
W. Birely, the trustees of primary school district num-
ber seventy-two, in Frederick county, be and they are
hereby authorised to sell and convey so much of the lot
and parcel of ground on which the school house of said
primary school district is erected, as in their judgment
may be determined upon for the interest of said school,
except that portion occupied by said school house build-
ing, and as may be requisite for its convenient use and
access, and that the said named trustees are hereby au-
thorised to execute to the purchaser or purchasers there-
of, a good and sufficient deed or deeds for the same,
and the money arising from any such sale to be applied
by said trustees to the use of said primary school.

CHAPTER 149.

Time extend-
ed to collect.

An act to allow John T. Viers, further time to complete
his collections.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That John T. Viers, late collector of State
and county tax for the third election district of Mont-
gomery county, be and he is hereby authorised and em-
powered to collect any taxes or balances of taxes now
remaining due to and uncollected by him in the district
aforesaid, in the same manner and with the same power
and privileges as are allowed by the existing laws in
such cases made and provided.

To render at

fidavit.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said John T.
Viers shall, in every instance, before he shall proceed to
