other destitute male children, upon the same terms and
in the same manner, as by and under its acts of incorpo-
ration, the said Baltimore Female Orphan Asylum may
take charge of, and receive female orphan and other des-
titute female children.

CHAP. 65.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Baltimore
Female Orphan Asylum, may exercise the like powers
and authority over poor orphan and other destitute male
children received into the said institution, as under and
by virtue of its acts of incorporation, the said Baltimore
Female Orphan Asylum has herefore exercised, in re-
spect to poor orphan and other destitute female children;
the aforesaid powers and authority hereby granted over
male children to continue and be in force until the said
male children respectively arrive at the age of twenty-one
years.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the female directors
of the Baltimore Female Orphan Asylum he, and they
are hereby authorised to place any male child received
into the said asylum, at such age as the said female di-
rectors may deem suitable in the Baltimore Manual Labor
School for Indigent Boys, and that the said Baltimore
Manual Labor School for Indigent Boys be, and is here-
by authorised and empowered to exercise the like pow-
er and authority over the said male child so as aforesaid
placed in the said Baltimore Manual Labor School for
Indigent Boys, as by its act of incorporation, the said
Baltimore Manual Labor School, for Indigant Boys, may
exercise over any male child admitted into the said school
with the consent of the father, mother or guardian of
such male child.

Maryland, That Lewis Hammerslough, Lewis Lower,
Samuel Seigle, Jonas Freedenwalt, Meichel Heilbrun,
William Floss, Lawrence Lowman, Samuel Bingswanger,
Abraham Arnold, Irsael Ash, Abraham Rosenfelt, Samuel
Greensfelder, Bernard Greensfelder, Leon Dyer, Samuel
Wolf, together with such other persons as may become
