TRADERS AND KEEPERS OF ORDINARIES—

Not lawful for any person not being a

resident citizen established in business,

to sell or offer to sell or expose for sale,

any goods., other than agricultural pro-

ducts, &c., within the city of Baltimore,

whether maker or manufacturer or not

without first obtaining license, license

to be issued by clerk of Baltimore city

court upon payment of $50, for use of

State to avail until 1st May then next

ensuing, and no longer.

Not to sell, &c., as aforesaid by sam-

ple, &c., without first obtaining license,

such license to be issued by clerk of

Baltimore city court upon payment of

$50 for use of State, license to avail

until 1st May then next ensuing, and no

longer.

Any person offending, &c., to be

liable to indictment, and on conviction,

to pay not less than $50, nor more than

$200, one half to be paid by sheriff to

informer, who shall be a competent wit-

ness.

Duty of clerk of city court once in

three months, counting from 1st May,

to advertise in two papers the names of

all persons applying for such license,

any person applying before receiving

the same, to. pay the clerk, in addition

to the $50, and customary fees, one dol-

lar for expenses of advertising.

TREASURER — So much of the Constitution, &c., as

relptes to the appointment of, and directs

his appointment by the House of Dele-

gates, at their pleasure repealed, and

after confirmation, to be appointed by

concurrent vole of the two Houses, &c.
