TENANTS FOR YEARS OR AT WILL—

If summons returned without being

served, and with return, that he is not

to be found, a second summons, return-

able in not less than 5 days from the

day of the issue shall be issued; and if

tenant, &c. then be not found, a copy

to be left with occupants, &c.; or, if they

be vacant, affixed to building, &c.; or

otherwise set up if no building, &c.; and

on the day assigned in the summons,

&c., justice to proceed as if the parties

appeared, &c.

TOBACCO FUND — Commissioner of Loans autho-

rised to negotiate a loan by disposing

of the stock of the State, bearing an

interest of 6 per centum; principal-

redeemable at the pleasure of the State,

when State Treasurer thinks the situa-

tion of the tobacco fund will enable the

State to do so with safety, interest to be

payable half yearly on 1st of January

and July each year; principal and inter-

est to be paid out of tobacco fund only for

such sums as treasurer shall certify to

commissioner of loans, and necessary,

&c., the sum of money so certified shall,

in no one year, exceed $20,000, or

in gross, so payable out of said sum

$40,000,

Proceeds of sale of said stock to be

paid into treasury out of sura so provid-
ed, treasurer to pay to tobacco inspector

such amount, quarterly, as they, on

oath, certify they have expended, and

their receipts in the quarter in execution

of duties requited, &c., such payments

not to exceed the sums limited in the

first section
