sage of this act, it shall be lawful for,

and clerk of Baltimore city court, and

of Howard District, to enter satisfied

any judgment open on the dockets of

justices of the peace, returned to the

clerks aforesaid, prorided the party ap-

plying for such entry to be made, pro-

duce receipt of plaintiff attested by act-

ing justice of the peace, who shall be sat-

isfied before attestation by virtue of the

ti. fa. or ca. sa., or other precept that

the money has been paid for such ser-
