RESOLUTIONS.

Passed March
10, 1847.

Resolutions in relation to the painting of the Dome, am
repairing the roof ot the State House.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
Richard Swann, Jonathan Pinkncy and George G.
Brewer be, and they are hereby authorised to advertise
for proposals in such manner as they may deem expedi-
ent for painting the dome of the State House, and re-

pairing the tin covering on its roof.
Resolved, That the sum to be expended by said Ri-
chard Swann, Jonathan Pinkney and George G. Brewer,
in prosecution of these objects, shall not exceed fifteen
hundred dollars, to which amount the Treasurer be, and
he is hereby authorised to pay on the presentation of their
joint orders, out of any money in the treasury not other-
wise appropriated.
Resolved, That the committee hereby appointed, be re-
quired to keep an accurate account of the several bills
they may authorise to be paid in virtue of this resolution,
and return the same to the Treasurer.

Resolution in favor of George L. Magruder, A. H. Gam-
brill, William Glover and Llewellyn Boyle.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the State, pay to George L, Magruder,

A. H. Gambrill, William Glover and Llewellyn Boyle
each, the sum of twelve dollars, for services rendered as
assistant committee clerks to the House of Delegates.

Resolution in favor of Andrew Hall, surviving partner of
Hall and Mason.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the State be, and he is hereby directed
to refund to Andrew Hall, surviving partner of the firm
