RESOLUTIONS.

of Hall and Mason, the sum of fifty dollars, paid by said
firm for a license, pursuant to an act entitled, a supple-
ment to the act laying duties on licenses to retailers of
dry goods, and for other purposes passed at December ses-
sion, eighteen hundred twenty-one, which act has been
declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court of the
United States.

Resolution in favor of John G. Hetzell, Daniel Caulk
and Walter McNeir.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the State, pay to John G. Hetzell, the
sum of three hundred and twenty-five dollars and thirty-
seven cents, for tinning the roof of the State House, and
also to Caulk and McNeir, the sum of fifty-six dollars,
being the amount due them for work done on roof of
State House.

Resolution in favor of William Fisher.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer pay William Fisher, or his order, for sta-
tionary furnished the Library, the sum of three hundred
and seventy-nine dollars and thirty-two cents, out of any
unappropriated money in the treasury.

Resolution in favor of Dennis C. Thompson.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Stato be, and he is hereby authoris-
ed to pay to Dennis C. Thompson, the sum of twelve
dollars, for his services as assistant committee clerk in
the Senate, employed by authority of Ihe honorable the
President thereof.
