wise appropriated, to the commissioners appointed under
resolution number thirty-six, of December session, eigh-
teen hundred and forty-five, in relation to the public
buildings, three hundred dollars.

Resolution in relation to the salary of the President of the
Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Company.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the States' agents are hereby instructed to vote at the next
meeting of the stockholders of the Chesapeake and Ohio
Canal Company, for the reduction of the salary of the
president of the said company, to the sum of one thou-
sand dollars, at which rate the said salary shall continue
to be paid until such time as active operations for the
completion of the said canal shall be resumed.

Resolution directing the Treasurer to cause to be pub-
lished the acts of Assembly relating to the General
Revenue.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the treasurer be, and he is hereby authorised and direct-
ed to cause to be published in two papers, printed in the
city of Baltimore, and one German paper, and one paper
in Howard District, and in each county where a news-
paper is printed, such acts passed by the General As-
sembly as provide for the general revenue of the State,
and the said Treasurer be authorised to pay for said
publication, out of any unappropriated money in the
treasury.
