CHAP. 332.

defendants, and to which William F. Frick became
likewise a party, notwithstanding the lapse of time since
said appeal was prayed; and that the transcript of the
record in said cause has not been, upon said appeal,

that said transcript be transmitted and be filed with the
clerk of the said Court of Appeals before the first day
of June next; and the clerk of Baltimore county court
is hereby authorised and directed to transmit the said
transcript, on payment or, tender to him, of the costs for

CHAPTER 331.

An act to authorise the Commissioners of Tax for Anne
Arundel County, to fix the place for holding the Polls in
the Second Election District of said County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the commissioners of the tax for Anne
Arundel county be, and they are hereby required and
empowered, to select some suitable place, in the second
district of Anne Arundel county, as convenient as pos-
sible to a majority of the legal voters of said district,
for the purpose of holding the polls at.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty of
the commissioners aforesaid, to give public notice of
the place selected by them for holding the polls, for at
least six weeks prior to the first Wednesday in October,
by publishing the same in the newspaper printed in
Annapolis.

An act to exempt from execution the property of Volun-
teers serving in the War with Mexico, and to protect
Volunteers from arrest, when formed in Companies,
and before they are mustered into the service of the
United States.
