1846.

CHAPTER 329.

An act to authorise Thomas M. D. Baden, former Col-

lector of Prince George's County, further time to

complete his collections.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of A
Maryland, That Thomas M. D. Baden, former collector

of Prince George's county be, and lie is hereby autho-
rised and empowered to collect any tax, or balances of
taxes, now remaining due and uncollected by him. in
the same manner as he could or might have done within
the time limited by law.

CHAP. 330.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Thomas M.
D. Baden, before he proceeds to execute the property of
any person, by the authority of this act, shall deliver, or
cause to be delivered, to the person or persons chargea-
ble with the same, and at least ten days before he shall
proceed to execute as aforesaid, a particular account of
the sum demanded of him, her or them, with an affidavit
thereto annexed, that he hath not, nor hath any person
acting under him, whilst collector as aforesaid, or since
then, received any part thereof or satisfaction for the
same, to the best of his knowledge and belief; provided,
that nothing in this act contained, shall be so construed
as to effect the estate of a deceased person, except to
authorise the said Thomas M. D. Baden to recover any
claim or balance due by a deceased person, in the same
manner that claims against deceased persons are now
recovered by law.

To give ten
days notice.


Proviso.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this law shall be in
force one year from the passage thereof, and no longer.

CHAPTER 330.

An act for the benefit of Samuel Tschudy.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Court of Appeals for the Western Shore be,
and is hereby authorised and required, to hear and de-
termine the appeal heretofore prayed by Samuel Tschudy,
in the cause in Baltimore county court, in equity, be-
tween Rebecca Woollen and William Rogers, executors,
plaintiffs; and Samuel Tschudy and his wife, and others,
