LAWS OF MARYLAND.

CHAP. 290.

at public or private sale, by and with the consent of
Frederick county court, as a court of equity, first had
and obtained, all of the said property so mentioned and
described in the first section of this act, and the same to
convey in fee, to the purchaser or purchasers thereof,
upon the full and just payment of the purchase money
therefor.

Trustee to re-
port sale.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the said Wil-
liam C. Sappington, trustee as aforesaid, shall report such
sale when effected, to the Frederick county court as a
court of equity; and said court is hereby directed, after
allowing the usual commission and expenses to the said
trustees, to cause an audit to be made of the residue of
the proceeds of said land, and the same to be distributed
among the parties entitled thereto, according to their
respective interests, as defined in the first section of this
act, and the usual practice of said court in such cases.

To execute
bond.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the said trus-
tees, before making said sale, shall execute a bond, with
security, to be approved by the said Frederick county
court as a court of equity, and in such penal sum as said
court may prescribe, conditioned for the true and faith-
ful discharge of the trust hereby reposed in him.

CHAPTER 290.

Passed March
10, 1847.

A supplement to an act for the Protection of Mechanics
and others in Washington and Cecil Counties, passed
at December session, eighteen hundred and forty-two,
chapter one hundred and eighty-three, so far as it
relates to Washington County.

Repealed.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the proviso in section one, chapter one
hundred and eighty-three, passed at December session,
eighteen hundred and forty-two be, and the same is here-
by repealed.

Extend lien.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the priviso in section
two, chapter one hundred and eighty-three, passed at
December session, eighteen hundred and forty-two be,
and the same is hereby repealed, and said section shall
he so construed as to extend said lien mentioned in said
act and section to any lot or land attached to said build-
ing at the time of its erection.
