the provisions of the act entitled, an act to incorporate a
Company for constructing a bridge at the Point of Rocks,
Frederick county, Maryland, opposite Potomac Fur-
Furnace, in Virginia, passed at the present session of
the General Assembly, shall have effect, shall be fully
indemnified by said bridge company for all damages she
may sustain by the loss of the profits of her ferry at the
Point of Rocks aforesaid, in consequence of the erection
of said bridge; such damage or damages, to be assessed
by two or more competent commissioners, appointed,
equally by the parties interested, and said damages,
when so assessed, shall be compensated, either in the
shape of a certain annual charge on the profits of said
bridge company, or by a fixed sum to be paid to said
Margaret Graham, her heirs or assigns, by said com-
pany, as may be mutually agreed on between the parties.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts of
an act, inconsistent with the provisions of this act shall
be, and are hereby repealed.

An act to incorporate Fell's Point Lodge, Number Forty-
four, of Ike Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Thomas C. James, George Myer,
Thomas H. Spencer, Edmund B. Burt, John Meiser,
Moses Petlinger, and others, the officers and members
of Fell's Point Lodge, Number Forty-four, of the Inde-
pendent Order of Odd Fellows of Maryland, attached
to the Grand Lodge of Maryland, and their successors,
be incorporated and made a body politic and corporate,
by the name and number of Fell's Point Lodge, Number
Forty-four, of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows
of Maryland, and by that name may sue and be sued,
have a common seal, and the same at their pleasure alter,
and be entitled to use the powers incident to such cor-
poration.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That they, as a corporation,
shall be capable of taking and holding real and personal
estate, not exceeding the value of ten thousand dollars,
which estate shall never be divided among the members
of the corporation, but shall descend to their successors,
