RESOLUTIONS. 1845

No. 51.

Resolution instructing the Treasurer to publish in two
papers and one German paper, printed in the city of
Baltimore, and one paper printed in each county, the
laws passed at the present session, in relation to the
general revenue laws of the State.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer be, and he is hereby authorised and direct-
ed to cause to be published in two papers, printed in the
city of Baltimore, and one German paper, and one paper
in Howard District, and in each county where a news-
paper is printed, such acts passed by the General As-
sembly as provide for the general revenue of the State,
and the said Treasurer be authorised to pay for said pub-
lication out of any unappropriated money in the treasury.

9, 1846.

Resolution in favor of George Rice, Esq., Sheriff of
Frederick County.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to George Rice,
late sheriff of Frederick county, the sum of live hundred
dollars, for services rendered and money advanced in
payment of witnesses and tor oilier purposes, in the con-
tested election for Senator in Frederick county.

Resolution in favor of Margaret Loney.

Passed Mar.
9, 1846.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That

the Treasurer of this State be and he is hereby directed
to pay to Margaret Loney, formerly Margaret Carr, of
Baltimore county, widow of John Carr, a soldier of the
revolution, or to her order, the half pay of a private, in
quarterly payments, in consideration of services rendered
by her former husband during the war of the revolution.
