1845. RESOLUTIONS

ington, of Caroline county, be and they are hereby ex-
onerated from all liabilities to a bond which they gave to
the State of Maryland for State Arms, in the year eigh-
teen hundred and twenty-four, those arms having been
destroyed by fire, which took plate in Greensborough,
March, eighteen hundred and forty-two; and the Adju-
tant General is hereby directed to deliver the said bond
to the said Burchenal, Pippin and Harrington.

Resolution in favor of Lydia Aeworth.

Passed Mar.
9, 1846.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of this State pay to Lydia Aeworth, daugh-
ter of Nancy Richardson, or her order, whatever ar-
rearages of pension may be found due the said Nancy
Richardson at the time of her death.

9, 1846.

Resolution instructing the Treasurer to pay the Chief
Clerk of the Senate and House of Delegates, such
sums of money as may he necessary to pay the ac-
counts for furnishing members of the Legislature with
newspapers.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the State pay to George G. Brewer,
chief clerk of the House of Delegates, and Joseph H.
Nicholson, chief clerk of the Senate, out of any unappro-
priated money in the treasury, the amount of the several
accounts that may from time to time be presented to them
by said clerks, for newspapers furnished the members of
the legislature during the present session, and that he also
pay the amount for postage upon letters forwarded and
received by said clerks, relative to the duties of their re-
spective offices.
