1845. RESOLUTIONS.

No. 43.

Passed Mar.
9, 1845.

Resolution in favor of paying such Members of the Le-
gislature as may be detained at the Seat of Govern-
ment by indiposition.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore, pay to such mem-
bers of the legislature as may be detained at the seat of
government by sickness, four dollars per day during such,
detention.

No. 44.

Passed Mar.
9, 1846.

Resolution in favor of George 0. Brewer, for services
rendered, &c.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Governor be, and he is hereby authorised and direct-
ed, to pay out of any monies in the treasury not otherwise
appropriated, to George G. Brewer, a reasonable com-
pensation for making out an index to the public docu-
ments of the House of Delegates, from the year eighteen
hundred and thirty-four to the year eighteen hundred and
forty-five inclusive, in obedience to an order of the said
House of Delegates, passed on the tenth day of March,
eighteen hundred and forty-five.

No. 45.
Resolution in favor of the Chaplains.

Passed Mar.
9, 1846.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of this State pay to the Rev. Mr. Steele,
chaplain to the House of Delegates, and the Rev. Mr.
Van Dusen, chaplain to the Senate, each one hundred
dollars, as compensation for their services during the pre-
sent session.
